Every Spot Counts

Cross Country and distance running is over a long distance but sometimes the finish comes down to a matter or inches or less. Sometimes, that finish, that spot in the results, is the difference between victory and and a sidebar.

Here is a great duel to the end.

Remember, this is a chip timed race so foot extension across the line is what matters. 

The winner in this case finishes in the top 10 at the Girls FSU Invite and 11th place settles for a spot outside the Top 10.

Great effort on both young ladies part without a doubt.

Did they learn something about racing that day?  Did they learn something about themselves?
